Abstract

During railway engineering project construction, conducting tunnel construction in surrounding rock is prone to hazards such as rockfall and collapse, which may lead to safety and quality accidents. Therefore, this paper introduces safety risk assessment methods for surrounding rock tunnels in railway engineering projects, utilizes these methods to perform risk source identification and risk analysis for tunnel construction, and subsequently presents corresponding surrounding rock tunnel construction practices and risk control measures through specific case studies.
