Abstract

With the continuous development of engineering construction and the widespread adoption of high-power electrical equipment, the importance of electricity at construction sites has become increasingly prominent, making temporary electricity planning essential for ensuring the successful completion of construction tasks. Electricity planning for different construction stages requires comprehensive consideration of various factors, including power consumption requirements of electrical equipment, power supply distance, cable ampacity, cable voltage drop, and box transformer capacity, with continuous optimization and improvement throughout the actual construction process. Based on the temporary electricity design and planning for the new Hongqiao Wastewater Treatment Plant project, this study focuses on high-capacity electrical equipment during construction. By changing box transformer locations during the early construction stage, optimizing the number of distribution boxes, and optimizing cable length and diameter, a method combining theoretical analysis with practical construction experience is employed to optimize the planning and layout of temporary electricity for construction equipment in integrated underground wastewater treatment plants. Effective measures such as rational allocation of high-capacity mechanical equipment and reduction of material and labor costs were identified, providing valuable reference for similar projects.

Abstract

As construction projects continue to evolve and high-power electrical equipment becomes increasingly prevalent, electricity has emerged as a critical resource on construction sites, making temporary power supply planning essential for ensuring successful project execution. Power planning requirements vary across construction phases and must comprehensively account for factors including equipment power demand, supply distance, cable current-carrying capacity, voltage drop, and transformer capacity, with continuous optimization and refinement throughout the construction process.

Drawing upon the temporary power supply design and planning for the new Hongqiao Wastewater Treatment Plant project, this paper specifically addresses high-capacity electrical equipment employed during construction. By optimizing transformer positioning during the pre-construction phase, reducing the number of distribution boxes, and optimizing cable lengths and cross-sections, this study employs a methodology that integrates theoretical analysis with practical construction experience. The research optimizes the planning and layout of temporary power supply for construction equipment in integrated underground wastewater treatment plants, yielding effective measures for rational allocation of high-capacity machinery and reduction of material and labor costs, thereby providing valuable reference for similar engineering projects.
