Abstract
Based on the Pudong open-cut section of the Yindu Road Cross-River Tunnel New Construction Project, this paper introduces the construction technology for prefabricated assembled side walls. Compared with traditional construction methods that predominantly employ cast-in-place concrete for open sections, the adoption of prefabricated side wall systems in underground U-shaped structures can effectively address challenges such as limited construction site area. Drawing from actual site conditions, key processes including prefabricated side wall base slab construction, side wall installation, post-cast strip construction, diagonal bracing removal, and deformation joint treatment are presented. The application of this prefabricated side wall construction technology not only shortens the construction period but also enhances the aesthetic quality of the wall surfaces, providing a valuable reference for subsequent projects.

Abstract
This paper introduces the construction technology for prefabricated assembled side walls based on the Pudong open-cut section of the newly built Yindu Road River-Crossing Tunnel project. Compared with traditional cast-in-place methods typically employed in open-cut sections, the use of prefabricated side walls in underground U-shaped structures effectively resolves issues such as constrained construction site area. Drawing from actual site conditions, key construction processes are described, including prefabricated side wall base slab construction, side wall installation, post-cast strip construction, diagonal bracing removal, and deformation joint treatment. The application of this prefabricated side wall construction technology not only shortens the construction schedule but also improves the aesthetic quality of the wall surfaces, offering a valuable reference for subsequent projects.
