Grassroots converged media centers are media institutions closest to the grassroots population, playing a vital role in guiding public opinion at the grassroots level and serving people's daily lives. Since its establishment, the Haidian District Converged Media Center in Beijing (hereinafter referred to as "Haidian Converged Media") has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, embraced a people-centered operational philosophy, and optimized media resource allocation with Internet thinking. By deeply exploring the role of grassroots converged media centers in building social governance systems, Haidian Converged Media has created a "Haidian model" that serves as both a mainstream public opinion front and an information hub serving the people. With the comprehensive arrival of the converged media era, information dissemination methods and channels are undergoing unprecedented transformation. Haidian Converged Media journalists, as key links connecting the public and information, now bear responsibilities that extend far beyond traditional news gathering and reporting [1]. In the converged media era, they must actively explore new interview models to adapt to diversified information dissemination needs and enhance the timeliness and influence of their reports. This paper takes the advantages of converged media technology as its starting point and uses the practical work of Haidian Converged Media journalists as examples to deeply explore innovative strategies for journalist interview models in the converged media era, aiming to provide valuable insights for journalists' work transformation and capability enhancement in this diversified information environment.
1. Introduction to Haidian Converged Media
Haidian Converged Media was established in July 2018 as one of the first pilot county-level converged media centers designated by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee. On September 11, 2018, Comrade Huang Kunming, then Minister of the Publicity Department, and Comrade Cai Qi, then Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, visited Haidian Converged Media for inspection. Huang Kunming emphasized the need to further advance converged media center construction, focus on publicizing, uniting, and serving the masses, and strive to build an important platform for grassroots publicity work and spiritual civilization construction, as well as a crucial platform for solving people's problems and conducting mass ideological and political work. Haidian Converged Media has kept these central leadership instructions in mind, continuously deepened exploration, upheld innovation while maintaining integrity, and made all-out efforts to build a nationally benchmark district-level converged media center.
1.1 Resource Integration Advantages
As the core area of Beijing International Science and Technology Innovation Center, Haidian District is a national economic powerhouse, a center for science and education, and a hub for talent. Covering an area of 431 square kilometers with a permanent population of 3.13 million, Haidian achieved a regional GDP of 950.17 billion yuan in 2021. The district is home to 41 universities including Tsinghua University and Peking University, over 100 research institutes, and a large number of leading internet platform enterprises such as ByteDance and Kuaishou. The Haidian District Committee and District Government have always attached great importance to the development of district-level media, establishing a leadership group for Haidian Converged Media Center construction with the Party Secretary and District Governor serving as co-group leaders. Top leaders have repeatedly issued instructions on Haidian Converged Media's development and coordinated the allocation of government, science and education, and enterprise resources within the jurisdiction to the district-owned media. Haidian Converged Media's construction has been included twice in the district government's work report, receiving full support in terms of system, technology, talent, and funding. The center has also promoted the establishment of the Zhongguancun Media Convergence Development Alliance with universities and leading enterprises in the district, forming comprehensive resource support for Haidian Converged Media through converged media working methods.
1.2 Early Integration Initiatives
In 2006, to achieve news resource sharing and improve news production efficiency, Haidian District revoked the District Radio and Television Center and Haidian Newspaper Office, merging them to establish the Haidian News Center. This integration of personnel and physical space, along with adjustments to some news gathering and editing processes, gradually formed a media landscape with comprehensive development of newspapers, television, and new media. In 2016, to enhance the authority and timeliness of government affairs transparency, the district committee and government transferred the management of Haidian District's government website cluster to Haidian Converged Media. Following the principles of "unified planning, unified construction, unified operation and maintenance, and unified monitoring," the center took charge of planning, construction, and daily operation and maintenance of all district government websites and district-level government new media accounts, and conducted monitoring of the operation of various government new media platforms. Each year, Haidian Converged Media carries out a "special performance assessment for government websites and government new media" for all district government departments, gradually forming a "news + government affairs" development model for district-level media. To achieve first-time release of district-level media content on new media and government websites, the center developed and built the Haidian District New Media Cloud Service Platform in 2017 with support from the Haidian District Science and Information Bureau. This platform connected various media production systems, embarking on a technology-driven media convergence development path. In 2018, as the construction of national county-level converged media centers unfolded comprehensively, Haidian District revoked the District News Center, Zhongguancun Magazine, and the District Cable Radio and Television Network Information Center, merging them to establish Haidian Converged Media as a district government-affiliated fully funded public institution, achieving complete integration of all district-owned media units.
1.3 Integration Achievements
Through continuous media convergence reform and development in recent years, the grassroots mainstream public opinion front has grown stronger. Haidian Converged Media now operates "one newspaper, one periodical, one TV station, one mobile client, two websites, and one learning platform," along with several new media accounts—specifically, Haidian Daily (weekly), Zhongguancun Magazine (monthly), Haidian Cable Television (daily broadcast), the "Palm Haidian" mobile client, Haidian website, Haidian District Government website, the "Study Strong Country" Haidian learning platform, and over 30 new media accounts including "Beijing Haidian" WeChat. The center has obtained an Internet News Information Service License and an Information Network Dissemination of Audio-Visual Programs License, with its new media platforms covering over 13 million users and its proprietary platforms registering more than 400,000 users. Media technology platforms are highly integrated with content production, with artificial intelligence and data analysis capabilities becoming important means for Haidian Converged Media to enhance production efficiency and enrich product forms. The Haidian District New Media Cloud Service Platform won the 2019 Wang Xuan News Science and Technology Award. The paths for grassroots converged media centers to serve the people and regional socio-economic development are gradually expanding. Leveraging cloud technology for live streaming, Haidian Converged Media has assisted in resuming work and production and poverty alleviation efforts, and its release hall has been selected as a Beijing Radio and Television Media Convergence Pilot Unit.
The "news + government services and business" model continues to enrich its connotation. Haidian Converged Media was included in the National Academy of Press and Publication's Selected Cases of Propaganda, Ideological and Cultural Work (2020), recognized as a 2020 Beijing Radio and Television Media Convergence Pilot Unit, selected as one of the top ten typical cases of national county-level converged media center capacity building in 2021, awarded the "Media Convergence Model Innovation" prize at the first New Audio-Visual Media Convergence Innovation and Creativity Competition in 2021, and elected as the vice-chairman unit of the China County and City Newspaper Research Association.
2. Advantages of Converged Media Technology
Converged media technology refers to the collective term for various technologies used in all aspects of converged media content collection, storage, production, broadcasting, distribution, transmission, and reception. It involves computer application technology, communication technology, information and network technology, among others. Its technical system is complex, and because it is applied to media, it is closely related to media communication attributes and business processes. Converged media technology integrates new information technologies such as cloud computing, big data, and the Internet into traditional media, accelerating the reengineering of traditional media production processes and promoting intensification, digitization, and intelligence in media production. It has not only profoundly changed information dissemination methods but also brought unprecedented advantages to journalists' interview work.
2.1 Strong Integration Capability
One of the core advantages of converged media technology lies in its powerful integration capability. In the interview process, this characteristic enables the fusion of audio, video, text, images, and other media forms to jointly construct a comprehensive, multi-level, and systematic communication system. The emergence of converged media technology breaks the limitations of single media. To adapt to and cultivate all-media talents, Haidian Converged Media has equipped every frontline journalist with a work backpack containing recording devices, cameras, microphones, and other equipment. Journalists can use these devices to collect information and integrate these materials into reports for distribution across multiple platforms such as WeChat, television, short videos, and newspapers, enabling audiences to understand events from multiple angles and dimensions. This diversified information presentation not only enhances the appeal and impact of reports but also improves information accuracy and credibility [2].
2.2 High Interactivity
Interactivity is another notable feature of converged media technology. Advanced network information technology enables two-way information transmission, allowing audiences not only to receive information but also to actively participate in its dissemination and discussion. In the interview process, this characteristic provides audiences with more opportunities for participation and expression [3]. For example, Haidian Converged Media journalists regularly release interview previews and real-time progress through social media platforms such as the official Weibo and WeChat accounts of "Beijing Haidian," attracting audience attention and discussion. Simultaneously, audiences can provide real-time feedback and interaction on report content through comments, forwarding, and likes. Under the joint guidance of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Heritage and the Haidian District Committee Publicity Department in 2022 and 2023, Haidian Converged Media produced the large-scale cultural heritage protection popular science program Treasures of the "Dian". The two seasons with ten episodes fully showcased "ancient capital culture," "red culture," "Beijing flavor culture," and "innovation culture." The program achieved new integrated and innovative communication in highlighting Beijing's "four cultures," avoiding simple preaching or scenic content. Instead, it deeply explored the charm of ancient buildings and cultural relics, deconstructing content through storytelling methods and disseminating it uniformly through converged media special topics. In terms of broadcast format, the program not only met television broadcast requirements but also specially included interactive questions for netizens, enabling real-time interaction with audiences during the program. This allowed viewers to learn about the "Three Hills and Five Gardens" while watching and to deeply participate in an "immersive game" experience. This interactive communication model not only enhances audience engagement and sense of belonging but also provides journalists with valuable opinions and suggestions to help them continuously improve reporting quality and service levels.
2.3 Meeting Timeliness Demands
In the field of news communication, information timeliness is crucial. Leveraging its powerful real-time advantages, converged media technology enables journalists to collect and release information at the first moment. Whether for breaking events or daily reporting, journalists can use portable devices such as smartphones and tablets to quickly capture on-site situations and transmit them to the editorial department in real time via networks. This immediate collection and release approach greatly shortens the time lag between news gathering and publication, enabling audiences to access the latest information at the first moment. At the same time, converged media technology also supports new communication methods such as live streaming and short videos, further meeting audience demands for information timeliness and sense of presence.
2.4 Achieving Personalization
Converged media technology also features personalization, capable of providing customized information services according to audience interests and needs. In the interview process, this characteristic makes reporting content more relevant to audiences' actual situations and psychological needs. For example, journalists can use data analysis technology to understand audience reading habits and preferences, thereby adjusting reporting styles and topic directions accordingly. Simultaneously, audiences can obtain content of interest through subscription and recommendation methods [4]. This personalized information service not only improves audience satisfaction and loyalty but also provides journalists with more creative inspiration and motivation.
3. Challenges in Converged Media Era Interviewing
3.1 Diversification of Interview Forms
In the traditional media era, journalist interview forms were relatively singular, mainly consisting of face-to-face and telephone interviews. With the continuous development and popularization of converged media technology, interview methods are undergoing unprecedented transformation, with interview forms showing a trend of diversification. In addition to traditional face-to-face and telephone interviews, many emerging interview forms have continuously emerged and gained widespread public favor. Among them, online video conversation has become a key interview method. Haidian Converged Media's program Direct Access to 2024 Beijing Two Sessions: Committee Member Interviews featured journalists conducting dialogues with Haidian District CPPCC members and NPC delegates via online video, which not only improved interview convenience and efficiency but also achieved instant information exchange between journalists and interviewees. This method breaks time and space limitations, making interviews more flexible and efficient [5, 6]. Additionally, interactive inquiry through short video clips has become an important interview method in the converged media era. Journalists can convey key information concisely and clearly to audiences by producing short video clips. These short videos can not only spread rapidly on social network platforms but also generate certain popularity in a short time, thereby expanding news influence. For example, Haidian Converged Media launched the high-quality short video program Urban Taste Pioneer, which combines technology and culture in its creation, innovating cultural communication perspectives by using "tasting" instead of "viewing" to record urban dynamics. The program focuses on major and minor events in Beijing and Haidian District, using the short video VLOG format of the host to create "internet-famous check-in" videos with distinctive personal characteristics, forming entirely new life exploration video content with unique human interest. The series currently includes high-quality short videos such as garden scenery, consumption promotion, and Zhongguancun Forum specials, which not only suit people's fragmented reading habits in the mobile internet era, making information dissemination more relevant to audiences' lives, but also attract a unique fan base. Furthermore, interactive interviews on current social media platforms have also become a popular interview method. Journalists can release interview topics through social media channels such as Weibo and WeChat to attract audience attention and participation. Audiences or interviewees can ask journalists questions and conduct interactive exchanges through social media platforms anytime. This interview method not only lowers the interview threshold but also enhances participation and sense of belonging. Haidian Converged Media has also achieved massive user aggregation and media brand "recharging" by deeply analyzing and applying user habits and traffic rules of commercial new media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, and short videos, adopting content product distribution strategies including first-time release of authoritative information on WeChat, traffic attraction through hot topics on Weibo, and production of positive-energy short videos. Currently, "Beijing Haidian" WeChat has 610,000 followers, "Haidian News" Weibo has nearly 470,000 followers, "Haidian Converged Media" Douyin has nearly 3.4 million followers, "Haidian Converged Media" Kuaishou has nearly 2.5 million followers, "Haidian Shake" Douyin has nearly 2.86 million followers, and "Haidian First Hand" Kuaishou has 390,000 followers. In summary, interview methods in the converged media era have become significantly diversified and more flexible. Journalists can select appropriate interview methods based on different news events and audience needs to achieve optimal communication effects. This diversified approach not only enriches news reporting forms and content but also enhances news professionalism and authority.
3.2 Lack of Attractiveness in Interview Content
In the converged media era, the rapid development of Internet technology has completely transformed the information dissemination landscape, making it faster and more extensive. Audiences' demand for content quality is increasingly showing diversified and personalized trends. Unfortunately, many journalists still adhere to traditional frameworks and mindsets in interview practice, resulting in interview content that generally lacks novelty and depth, making it difficult to stand out in the ocean of information and capture audience attention. Many journalists accustomed to traditional interview models often struggle to accurately grasp audience interest points during information collection and screening, with selected topics mostly limited to daily trivialities and lacking appeal and resonance [7]. Meanwhile, many new media practitioners have also fallen into this predicament, often confining themselves to issues already familiar to the public and shying away from topics with greater social impact and value. This undoubtedly further exacerbates the homogenization of interview content, making it difficult to effectively stimulate audience interest and greatly diminishing interview effectiveness. In the converged media era, the speed of information dissemination often catches traditional media off guard, with many events being reported first by self-media, especially numerous users on social media platforms such as Weibo, who have gradually become subjects of information release, and the stage for commentary increasingly shifting toward audiences. Consequently, the professional challenges for converged media journalists become even more formidable. Traditional journalist interviews usually require in-depth preparation around specific topics to ensure interview content has high representativeness and value, a process that often consumes substantial time and energy. However, against the backdrop of rapid self-media information disseminator development, converged media journalists face enormous time pressure, making it difficult to conduct adequate preparation in advance, inevitably leading to declining interview content quality. Many journalists struggle to balance depth and breadth in their intense work pace, causing interview content to appear less prominent in the information flood and difficult to effectively attract and retain audience attention.
3.3 Journalists' Interview Efficiency Needs Improvement
Under the traditional journalist interview model, many journalists rely on face-to-face interview methods, requiring transportation to interviewees' locations. However, in the converged media era, this interview method appears inefficient and difficult to meet the demands of efficient dissemination. In the converged media environment, journalists can fully utilize wireless communication transmission technology during on-site interviews to achieve instant sending of interview data, which can be quickly transmitted to the editorial department and thus presented to audiences faster. The application of big data technology has also brought great convenience to interview work. Through big data platforms, journalists can easily track hot topics or public events of local audience concern, accurately grasping core issues that audiences care about [8]. By using data analysis technology to conduct in-depth analysis of audience interests and needs, journalists can more targetedly determine topics, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of gathering and editing work. Moreover, big data technology can ensure that hot issues of audience concern are comprehensively included in interviews, better meeting audiences' actual needs and enhancing the relevance and influence of news reporting. The introduction of cloud computing technology has also greatly enhanced the flexibility of interview work. Through cloud platforms, journalists can access and store interview data anytime and anywhere, no longer constrained by equipment and location. This highly flexible work model enables journalists to not only collect and process information more efficiently but also further improve information timeliness and accuracy. Additionally, the popularization of mobile terminal devices has also contributed to improved interview efficiency. Smartphones, tablets, and other smart devices not only possess excellent communication capabilities but also integrate diverse collection and editing functions, enabling journalists to shoot, record, edit, and even release news content anytime and anywhere. Although converged media technology has brought many advantages, many journalists still fail to fully utilize these advantages to form truly converged media-centered new interview concepts. This phenomenon not only limits the efficiency and breadth of journalists' interviews but also makes it difficult to fully satisfy audiences' demands for information diversification and personalization.
3.4 Lack of Creativity in Post-Production
In the converged media era, journalists face challenges that extend beyond information collection to the post-production of interview content. Many journalists often lack the ability to transform interview videos into directly usable video resources—that is, secondary production capabilities. However, in today's mature digital media technology era, interview content without careful post-production struggles to gain a foothold in audiences' minds and may even be ignored. Against this background, the role of journalists has quietly transformed; they are no longer merely simple collectors of information but also publishers and disseminators of content. In the converged media era, journalists must not only quickly capture information during interviews but also consider how to disseminate this information more widely and effectively. This requires journalists to possess innovative thinking when designing post-production content, presenting interview content in more eye-catching and easily understandable ways. To this end, journalists must strengthen their learning of new media production technologies such as graphics, text, and video. By mastering these technologies, journalists can more flexibly process interview videos through various means such as editing, dubbing, and subtitling, enhancing content interest and readability to attract more audience attention. This also helps journalists convey interview information to audiences in more vivid and intuitive ways, enhancing communication effectiveness [9]. Therefore, journalists in the converged media era should continuously improve their professional skills, becoming not only proficient in information collection but also skilled in post-production, striving to create interview content that is both in-depth and attractive to meet audiences' growing diversified and personalized needs.
4. Innovative Strategies for Journalist Interview Models in the Converged Media Era
4.1 Improving Journalists' Understanding of Converged Media
With the rapid development of network technology, the media environment has undergone earth-shaking changes. For journalists, correctly understanding and recognizing converged media is not only a requirement for professional development but also a responsibility entrusted by the era. As an emerging concept in the media industry, converged media integrates the advantages of traditional and new media, breaks original media boundaries, and achieves diversified, interactive, and intelligent information dissemination. Journalists need to fully utilize this advantage to quickly capture social hotspots and public concerns, producing reports that are both timely and in-depth through in-depth interviews and careful planning [10-11]. Simultaneously, they need to pay attention to audience feedback and timely adjust reporting angles and depth to meet the needs of different audience groups. During interviews, journalists need to pay more attention to interaction with audiences. They can conduct real-time exchanges with audiences through new media channels such as social media and short video platforms to understand their thoughts and viewpoints, thereby making reports more relevant to audiences' lives and enhancing appeal and influence. To keep pace with the converged media era, journalists also need to continuously improve their professional competence and comprehensive capabilities. They must not only possess solid interviewing and writing skills but also master the use of Internet media software and products, as well as multimedia skills such as short video production and photo editing. Only in this way can they enrich interview content and produce more professional, influential, and audience-attracting reports. In summary, improving understanding of converged media is not only necessary for journalists to adapt to era development but also crucial for enhancing their professional competitiveness and realizing personal value. In this converged media era full of opportunities and challenges, journalists need to continuously learn, innovate courageously, and meet every interview and reporting challenge with a more open mindset and more professional skills.
4.2 Innovating Interview Forms Based on Converged Media Technology
Against the backdrop of the converged media era, the speed and breadth of information dissemination have reached unprecedented levels, placing higher demands on journalists' efficiency in information collection, editing, and release. This requires journalists to not only use advanced means such as mobile interview equipment and AI technology to accelerate information collection, editing, and release processes but also leverage cloud computing and big data analysis technologies to more accurately understand audience needs, thereby creating content that better suits audience tastes. Information forms in the converged media era are no longer limited to traditional text and pictures but also involve audio, video, and other forms of information that have become important components of information dissemination. This requires journalists to continuously improve their comprehensive qualities and master diversified interview and reporting skills such as video shooting, audio recording, and social media operation [12]. Moreover, when facing complex and changing interview scenes, journalists also need to possess keen observation, profound analytical ability, and accurate judgment to ensure interview content quality and depth. As public demands for participation and interactivity in news media increase, journalists in the converged media era also need to strengthen interactive communication with audiences. Through social media and other channels, journalists can more conveniently conduct real-time interactions with audiences, understand their viewpoints and needs, and thereby further enhance their appeal and influence [13]. For example, Haidian Converged Media's high-quality program Urban Taste Pioneer presents content in short video format for quick browsing and sharing. The Sci-Tech Innovation Power program incorporates high-tech elements such as virtual host "Hai Xiaojia" and AR technology to present more three-dimensional and vivid visual effects for audiences. The Treasures of the "Dian" program includes interactive segments that enhance audience participation and interactivity, enabling viewers to more deeply experience the cultural charm of the Three Hills and Five Gardens area through the program. These innovative forms and content not only improve program quality but also further enhance news dissemination effectiveness.
4.3 Strengthening Cross-Platform Collaboration and Resource Integration
Media competition is fundamentally talent competition, and media advantages are core talent advantages. Against the backdrop of rapid digital technology and network information technology development, information dissemination is no longer limited to single media platforms but spans multiple platforms and channels. Therefore, journalists need to strengthen cross-platform collaboration capabilities and learn how to work efficiently across different media platforms. To strengthen this capability, Haidian Converged Media, in guiding the transformation and integration of its existing talent pool, focuses on cultivating key position talents and optimizing the current talent structure to accelerate the "dual transformation" of concepts and business for editorial staff. On one hand, the center conducts business training annually relying on professional strong institutions such as Renmin University of China and Communication University of China to enhance the new media application level and professional quality of the news team. On the other hand, through "paired transformation" and "converged media small classroom" methods, traditional media employees and new media employees can fully leverage their respective advantages, teaching and learning from each other. Through the approach of "veterans guiding newcomers with mentorship, newcomers stimulating veterans with vitality," the center promotes transformation for all staff. Through the "Haidian Cloud" workflow design, journalists are required to contribute to all-media platforms, with performance evaluation tilting toward new media and incorporating work traffic and user evaluations into the assessment system, forcing editors and journalists to accelerate transformation. Since 2022, through training guidance and forced elimination, all journalists at Haidian Converged Media now possess the ability to publish across all-media platforms, with redundant single-skill personnel basically eliminated. The center has also established a rotation system for core positions such as outstanding editors, project managers, product operators, and industry managers, boldly selecting and using "potential stocks" with strong learning ability, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, cultivating a group of composite talents who deeply understand the media's operational philosophy and adapt to its ecosystem.
First, master multi-platform operation skills to improve professional levels. In the converged media era, information sources are more diversified, and there are numerous dissemination platforms such as social media, network platforms, and traditional media. Information dissemination patterns have completely broken the limitations of single media platforms, achieving cross-platform, multi-channel comprehensive communication [14]. Therefore, journalists need to continuously learn and master the operation methods and characteristics of these platforms, strengthen cross-platform collaboration capabilities, and learn how to work efficiently across different media platforms, such as how to effectively use social media for real-time interaction, how to publish in-depth reports on network platforms, and how to maintain authority and credibility in traditional media. This can not only broaden the scope of information dissemination but also enhance the diversity and interactivity of news reporting, thereby better meeting audience needs.
Second, enhance team collaboration awareness to achieve resource sharing and efficient communication. Cross-platform collaboration means journalists need to work closely with colleagues from different media platforms. Therefore, enhancing team collaboration awareness is crucial. Journalists should learn to use team collaboration tools such as project management software and cloud storage platforms to achieve resource sharing and efficient communication. By sharing interview materials, news clues, and editing progress, teams can quickly integrate information, reduce duplicate labor, and improve work efficiency. Meanwhile, regular online or offline meetings help team members exchange ideas, share experiences, and jointly improve cross-platform collaboration capabilities.
Third, pay attention to platform trends and audience feedback, and flexibly adjust communication strategies. Compared with traditional media, the biggest advantage of converged media is its ability to achieve two-way interaction with audiences, receiving and effectively responding to audience opinions, suggestions, and feedback in real time. In this rapidly changing information era, the development trends of different media platforms and audience needs are always in dynamic change [15]. Therefore, journalists need to maintain keen insight into market dynamics to timely adjust communication strategies. For example, when users on a certain platform prefer short video content, journalists can timely increase short video production and release to meet audience preferences. Meanwhile, when audiences show strong interest in a certain type of news, journalists can carefully plan interview programs based on the type, theme of news clues, and audience characteristics. In this process, tools such as online voting or questionnaires can become effective means to optimize interview programs, helping journalists more accurately compile and determine interview outlines and details. By closely monitoring platform trends and audience feedback and combining the characteristics of news clues, journalists can find the most suitable communication methods for each platform, thereby maximizing information dissemination effects.
Converged media is not a simple integration of traditional and new media but an entirely new information dissemination ecosystem that requires journalists to possess cross-media thinking and the ability to flexibly use various media means for information collection, editing, and dissemination. Therefore, the converged media era should continuously optimize and improve journalist interview models through measures such as improving journalists' understanding of converged media, innovating interview forms based on converged media technology, and strengthening cross-platform collaboration and resource integration, to meet audience diversified needs and support industry sustainable development.
